Wildlife Health and Ecology Research Group retreat

On September 21–22, our Wildlife Health and Ecology Research Group, which brings together several labs from the University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (UCVM), headed to the beautiful Barrier Lake Field Research Station for our traditional September retreat.

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with colleagues, hear inspiring lectures by Dr. Jessica Haines and Dr. Margo Pybus, and take part in an Applied Research Data Management workshop—all against a backdrop of mountains and autumn colours.

I was very honoured to co-organize the event. Many thanks to our chief organizer, Kerry Schutten, as well as Aurelia Strauss and Laura Budd, for helping bring everyone together.
